U.S. Marshals & the Civil Rights Movement is a 40 page collection of primary and secondary source materials detailing much of the marshals involvement in the Civil Rights Movement of the 1960s. An important part of their history, the U.S. Marshals were deeply involved in some of the most turbulent locations of the movement- New Orleans, Louisiana, Oxford, Mississippi, and Selma and Montgomery, Alabama.
